Racial Equality Officer, based in our Pitsea office
The Race Equality Officer for Essex Racial Equality Council. I am based at the Pitsea Office. The role is to do the casework for the victims of race discrimination and harassment referred to me. Working closely with the Director and the Administrative Officer and am the person clients see once they have made contact with the organisation. Also representing EREC at the Hate Crime Panels.

The Community Development Officer. I am based at the Southend on Sea Office. Working with local BME groups within the County. Organising workshops, seminars and training for BME community groups. Development of BME community groups and identifying their needs.

I am the Officer for the Pitsea Office of Essex Racial Equality Council. My role is to ensure the office is running efficiently and to be the first point of call for all incoming enquiries. I work closely with the Director and Race Equality Officer on casework, client care and administrative support for the BME Advocacy Project. I also collate statistical evidence for Essex Police on victim satisfaction and register reported incidents that are reported to Hate Crime Panels.
